Continental Pacific, LLC is a Delaware Limited Liability Company with its home office based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The owners are J. Barron Strother, Jere A. Henderson, and F. Reynolds Henderson. Continental Pacific’s core business is to focus on purchasing large land tracts, ranging in size from thousands of acres to several hundred of thousands of acres, and reselling those tracts as smaller parcels. Because of the quantity of land Continental Pacific purchases is substantial, the purchase price is discounted to the fair market value, allowing Continental Pacific to pass the discount along to purchasers. Parcels sold to buyers range from one acre to thousands of acres and are generally some type of agricultural property-timberland, pastureland, or farmland. However, many of the buyers build homes on the property purchased.
Continental Pacific lists most of its properties for sale with the most successful local real estate brokers in the area. This allows Continental Pacific to operate with low overhead and expand into new markets without the need for more employees and multiple office spaces. Again, saving on expenses means that buyers of Continental Pacific’s properties save when they purchase. The buyers of Continental Pacific’s properties are investors, farmers, retirees, other individuals, and companies-they are value investors.
Continental Pacific also offers financing for many of its buyers, providing a lending service on vacant property that most banks and other finance companies prefer not to offer. As a result, Continental Pacific has accumulated a large portfolio of notes receivables secured by real estate. Since its inception, Continental Pacific has acquired and sold properties throughout the Southeastern United States, East Texas, Hawaii, and Chile in South America. Continental Pacific currently has lands available for sale in the Southeastern United States, Hawaii, and Chile. Continental Pacific also has office space for lease in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. In addition, the company is seeking property to acquire throughout the United States.
